The Cytek founder would be so proud. You know "sole support" and all. The wall isn't meant to be weight bearing.
See how well it self trims as it grows over the shoe.
Any pictures of what you put on instead?
I was at a loss for words as what I seen.. the worst part was just was not a whole lot left to work with .. I was shocked at how the girl I guess did not have a forge to turn in the heels to fit so she just grind smith the heels to fit the foot..if you can even say the shoes fit..
........... Nothing fancy just trying to get a base line going and judge some level of comfort or discomfort ..as was man I just did not have anything to go off of other than horse lame and very lame on right front ..blocked out 95% sound on right front ..hinds where in about same shape as front with the foot dubbed down to shoe..
Fair play to you, I was going to say that it would be better to have your photos in there too.
Travis do ya drill the holes in the pad to inject in the solepacking or for a release so as not to cause pressure?
Lock the material in.
NB shoes are but one 'tool' in the farriers box. Like any other tool, used incorrectly, they have the ability to cause harm. I dare say that we have all seen that level of incompetence, lack of knowledge, lack of skill, inflicted on horses by appliances of other than NB configuration.
Yes David..if I'm using impression material I do it to help lock it on place and to allow the pressure to push out..if using the vet tec impresion stuff I shoot that purple stuff in a hole..
Agreed rick ..its pretty clear they was an issue during installation or the lack of..
Im new to using impression material (only got had vettec available in Ireland) but Ive drilled bar wedges to lock it in, but never have had a problem with full pad's, but to release pressure is a great idea and using the holes to pump the vettec in is a great idea.
