With the new threads auctioning tongs that are going to absolutely rock and talk of the Summit just made me realize something. First, maybe a tad bit about myself. I went to Dusty's school in Oklahoma last spring for twelve weeks and then a fair bit of time back there over the summer because he took some time off from teaching. So, largely I've been on my own since last July having a go at getting business running.

It's going ok, but certainly could use a lot more. Being as where I got my start, certifications, competitions, and the like we're stressed pretty strongly, so I'm trying to hit up competitions and clinics as much as possible, but I certainly have felt off on my own a fair bit, even though I do ride with a couple guys as often as possible.

Anyhow, aside from being able to make ends meet for myself and the wife and kids, I think the biggest reason I'm excited at the prospect of doing well is having more freedom to support the industry with things like having the backing to make bids for items like Scrugg's tongs and associations, and most important (to me) is keep learning. I've had far more fun in less than a year in this industry than anything else I've ever done before.

it can be a "Drug!" the more ya do the more ya want. The more ya do then it can't be enough. The enough is ever ending. The more ya want. Clarity is ever elusive ! :D

I'll be damned if it's not. I honestly had no clue what I was getting into but the bug got me, and I look foreward to a lot of years in this business.

SLAPS you guys that want to do it when some of us Women tried to do it 30 years ago and were laughed out of the office because we barely cleared the weight limits!

PUSH IT AND DON'T LET ANYONE STOP YOU!!
