Jeez. .. I have two new ones to do next week - hope they are in a better state than that! Any ' after ' pics?
This is one I did a few years ago. When asked why I was taking the pic by the owner, I told them I was going to post it on the web so people could see how they took care of their animals. Both of them got very silent. I've found people are afraid of the camera more than the police.
It seems like every time I get a call about trimming donkeys, they look like this. They are used extensively as herd protectors around here. They only get them trimmed when they look like this or can't walk.
more than a few of the herd protectors I've done, have been sedated and/or recumbent. most times as a favor for the Vets not the owner. and YES I charged so that I really LIKE them. Plus, it's a good time to catch up with the Vet and educate their tag along Vet students
I did one today just over from Ireland - 2 years old and probably never been done in his life. They had the vet drop him and I did him lying down. He was almost feral and dangerous to do standing.
