Thought I would try something new, and see if it is useful. Each Friday morn, or Thursday eve. I'm going to open a Tag Sale thread, folks can post farrier/horseshoeing related items for sale or trade in that thread, the following Sunday eve. or Monday morn I will remove the entire thread and restart i the following Thursday eve or Friday morn. The idea is to keep it clutter free and for folks have a venue to sell/trade unwanted/excess items. Responses should be made direct to the seller not on or in the thread. ,I or a moderator will remove responses or incorrect posts. If it is used and can be managed it will continue, if there is a call other horse related Tag Sale thread may be started in the owners section. It is not for commercial entities to sell stuff,ex. Horseshoes Unlimited nor other suppliers will Not post,nor be allowed to post in the Tag Sale Thread Won't know if it is viable till it is tried, If successful, in the future I'll ask that a % of sales amt. be donated to a charity via the honor system. I need to apologize, I forgot to put up the Tag Sale thread on Thursday eve./ Friday, and should be closing up today. Ray, Could you leave the tag sale up a little longer? Maybe delete it the day before you start the new one? I completely missed this one and I am also in the market for a swing out which, apparently there were some up in the thread. Just a suggestion David
David, Good idea, we can try opening say on Friday, anything posted for sale will stay until the next Friday when it will be closed/erased and the next weeks clean slate will be opened. Less work for me , I like it! Or we could go Monday to Monday! let me know what you prefer. I don't think you missed anything, I screwed up! I forgot to open the thread up. The thinking is to open on Friday morn. and close on Sunday eve. kinda to mirror tag /yard sales in the USA. weekends,and to keep it from getting cluttered. It could be opened or closed any amt. of time but if let to run like a classified would/might take extra work to keep it from being cluttered ,if I do my part and open ,even if you miss a weekend, if the article is still for sale it can be reposted the next weekend. Will that work? You could also post what you are looking for. This past weekend, I just didn't show up.Now that I think of it anyone can open up, David Hall and or I can close. any thoughts? Ray, That all sounds good to me, I was queuing off Zach's post above mine that there were some swing outs for sale in the tag sale thread this weekend. I have been looking for a swing out that will swing out and is easily adjustable for height. Thanks David
I'd say just stick with your normal timeline, that's what people expect. It would just be good if it stayed open past the weekend. I usually don't get on here on the weekends (being one of the loathed part timers) because I'm busier then. Thanks for your consideration David
David, The swing outs were NC tool units. Not adjustable for height ( barring modification ). Zach is interested in the larger (15.75 inches wide.) The smaller one fits the NC Low Boy (14.5 inches wide ). I just listed them on Ebay yesterday. I'll let you know if Zach changes his mind on the larger one. PM me if you're interested in the smaller one. Ray, I'll list them in the tag sale next week if I still have them, along with some other stuff. Regards

I appreciate the info but I have a normal swing out so, thanks anyway, I think I'll have to figure out a mod on my own. I don't always get the best locales to work in and one place in particular, I can't see into my forge without standing on something (due to parking location and terrain). So I either get something to stand on or work cold and, I'm really trying to get away from working cold if I can. David
