On one of our college blocks they made us make a pair of hoof testers out of a couple of rasps. I still use them to this day.

George what ever she is doing for the contest make sure she ties a string to it, you know her for losing things
As a photographer, I really don't know if I should treat this epic event as a fashion shoot or photojournalism. Decisions, decisions . . .
Not knowing Linda but i would say you will have to tie her to somthing maybe the anvil to get a good pic of her
