Hang in there Red. Take it slow for awhile. I've been helping a fellow farrier who got three stents two weeks ago. He tires easily but is on the road to recovery. You will be also.

If you waz half as smart as you thought ya waz you wouldn't be near as tough as you are. Sometimes that's the difference between wakin' up an not. Hang in there and hope your recovery is as fast and loose as you are!

Glad to hear you came through OK.

And thanks for the advice to be smart enough to take good advice. It made me think. I'm gonna schedule a physical. Haven't been feeling up to snuff myself lately, but I've been blaming it on the cold weather.

    Regards

Yeah its pritty simple isnt it realy
wake up to yourself or DONT
I have to say that this time around I realy felt the dissapointment and realised the insult Id bestowed on the staff at the hospital not to mention my loved ones by my selfish and irrisponsible she,ll be right mate attitude towards my condition

Lovely folk work hard to help nice that people never played up and smoked and looked after themselves well and are worse off than me and care more than me and arent getting the chance Ive have or as good a result
They all deserve better and this time round theyll get it

Red you better get better !!!!!! Or i'll come over to Tazmania and kick your butt !!!
8 months out of the hospital-tripple by-pass and a new arorta valve on my heart and I am back working on drafts and them small things that the rest of you folks work on....
I didn't even know anything was that wrong with me, just was getting hard to breath and my enurance was down to a babies crawl.
Key is to slow down..... Were not a young as we used to be and "stress" and
frustration along with a heavy work load will knock us off our legs before we realize anything is wrong. Oh Yea ! did I mention lowering your chlorestoral and eating healthy ? Cut back or quit all the fried food soda and candy.
I am now spending time in my blacksmith shop learning to make shoe's, belt buckles, knives and other nifty things. I shoe 3 days a week and work with Sharon in the dog grooming shop 4 days a week.
In other words I haven't quit working, just SLOWED THE PACE DOWN ...

Do take care my good friend, we want you around for a long long time.....
    my 2 cents worth ;)

Glad you had your epiphany. It's amazing how we can treat our bodies and expect things to keep working.
I had a similar but way less severe awakening this summer. I had been sick for 7 month and just kept getting weaker and sicker. I was actually to the point I gave up about 20% of my clients as i couldn't keep up. Finally a few of my nurse clients told me off and said "if you treated a horse the way you treat yourself what would you expect".... uh wow, so simple. Anyways to you all(and myself) I hope 2013 brings a good life, good health, and happiness.
