back pritchelling

    I tend to agree with the above. The initial nail hole might be close to perfection but on a "reset" the above applies and I nail them on as they are, unless grossly deformed due to wear.

    it depends what nail holes your use to
    if you are not use to good nail holes you will never know

    It ads to a better job weeks down the road
    like nailing and finishing you can settle for less

    but i always say why

    My old boss used to say I will look at it in 6 weeks and then tell you it were a good job.

    That's the point. After 6 weeks there is no apparent difference between those that were back pritchelled those that weren't.
