Different folk, different strokes........ I know of folk who are/were very capable of hammer clenching but find that they like the clench of the clencher better.......... if it a good job isn t it still a clench!

The reason I asked was because it was the 1st time that I can remember noticing that the tool was used different than how I do it,clenching,
also it gave me thought as to why my clenchers last 10 plus yrs. or until I put them down someplace and forget, I think the single tooth process is less wear and tear on he sharp teeth than the scraping. To be clear ,this man was a top notch farrier,so I m not knocking how he clenched just noticing the difference.

I might just send you Chris's (Chris' for the grammar police) cabbage, (he has a field of them growing out the back of his place) It has the density of weapons grade uranium.

No matter what tool you use there is good clenching and poor clenching
just depends what you can do on a daily basis

Just to save confusion between cash and cabbage , you can get the pound sterling sign on a computer keyboard that only has the dollar sign by holding down the Function (Fn) key and the Alt key simultaneously and typing the number 0163 using the letter keys with the appropriate number on them (in my case M, J,
O and L) - when you release the keys, the symbol appears - £ see!

    Gary,

thanks for that ,no confusion here,

David still has not reimbursed me for the 10 lbs, sterling or otherwise that he never paid for the clenchers he never rcd. in the 1st place, and now it seems he s trying to bring his staff into it to keep it more confusing,it ll be the last time i don t consider one of his offers again.
