    It probably was !!!!! I made them 34 years ago, all my stamps and pritchels are hande made but it seemed appropriate to post these as an entry as any others I have made.... So yep it's my entry :)

    Day ten ,18 left .have to say davids in the lead on stamps and pritch. pending some pics. Im on the fence on the hoof pics Mikel's is a work of art but clints ugly little mongrel looks handier by half .help me out guys nd gals get them in :)

    This is Alex's go,couple inches of 3/4 round tool steel and about 9 inches of Derek Gardiner oval tool steel for pritchel total cost about a few pounds. Will take a better pic later....

    David can i get pics of nails in the hole they stamp? They bolth look great but the best way to judge a tool is by the work it dose. Thanks

    All mine I've done in the coal forge. Bring up to red heat, shut down the forge, then leave the piece in the fire pot to cool down until the next day.

    always done the same Mikel but after going to a JA clinic he recommends that with these modern tool steels proper heat treatment prolongs the life of the tools

    I'm still searching for steel. The local steel mill does not have it and would only purchase it for me by a semi load
