    I have shod for this woman, it was fun while it lasted then she would come to the forge and waste metal, make a mess, upset the apprentices by teasing them and making crude comments to them. I ended up having to get a restraining order on her as she was stalking me!!!!

    I dare say you may be on to something............ I imagine my client base would increase expediently. However it would not be based so much on the quality of my service but on my presentation alone...... :p

    Usually when you pay for something by credit card you can dispute the transaction if the item is not delivered in 30 to 60 days. By the time anyone gets around to figuring out that they are not getting their magazine, it is too late to dispute it on a credit card or PayPal. The statute of limitations for internet eCommerce fraud is 2 years. So anyone who has been taken by H&L within the last 2 years could prosecute. But getting the authorities involved on something like this is a lot of work.

    I confronted Fran Jurga about this situation in person on two different occasions. Once at the IHCS in Cincinnati and once at the Laminitis Conference in Palm Beach. Also have eMails. She is a pathological lier, a thief, and a fraud. Actually believes her own lies.

    Ray, you talked to her about this, and according to what you told me, she acted like she felt she was not doing anything wrong.

    I am tempted to buy a new subscription just so I have the evidence to prosecute her.

    I have also thought about writing a letter to the Laminitis Conference, but I think they would look at it the same was as George Geist - she is their untouchable darling and they will continue to look the other way.

    Please log your complaint to http://www.ic3.gov
    This agency handles all internet fraud and complaints.

    It is beyond the statute of limitations for me but not for anyone who bought a subscription in the last 2 years can pursue a FEDERAL CRIMINAL COMPLAINT.
