    As Anvils go, i dont really have that many options on the norwegian market, mostly the ones that kaerkchart distributes.
    that would be brands from BLue devil, cliff carrols, future and Swan

    But theres only a few hours trip over to sweden, they might have more choices

    I need a good one, thats first on my list, I only have a small one , its ok for small shoes but the larger ones are a pain with it....

    gro.. in solvalla shoe shop in s-holm they have nc anvils.. i got 32kg nc big face and its really good.. i cold fit all before whit sell stalljack(up to kearkhard nr5..) and its really big change!!!

    Being a candyass myself when it comes to cold weather, I can't imagine NOT shoeing without a forge to just help shape them cold cold steel shoes...Brrr!!:)

    Yes i bet its a huge difference, you from sweden then I assume ?

    its not to really that cold until the steel sticks to your hands ;)
    But thats what we have gloves for :LOL:

    I would go with a kohlswa over the NC anvil, may cost more but will be well worth the extra money. It's like comparing a draft horse with a shetland pony, there's no comparison.
