14 1/4 x 3/8 x 1 Toe weights

Justin where is the weight coming from , do you jump the toe up and draw the branches , why the clip ?

I think I put 1 1/2 inches in the toe and then draw the branches down. It measures an 1 1/8 wide in the toe almost to the widest point of the foot then taper down to 5/8 on the inside and 3/4 on the outside branch. The clip is like any other to take the strain of the nails with two pads between the foot and shoe. I've post the horse these went on a couple times.

I didn't really think you'd managed to get enough metal out of the toe to form a clip like that!

I've been thinking about trying it's 2 inches tall may be tough.

as a matter of interest why not use 114x1/2 and put a massolete clip on it , you have obviously hate to bump the toe up , so is the clip so really that important , or can you not just fireweld the clip on whilst you are in the fire anyway ?

I'd love to see a two inch clip drawn!

USEF shoeing rules dictate stock dimensions maximum is 3/8 x 1 1/8. Not to bad to bump, only takes one heat to get an inch and a half. You could fire weld one on. The clip is pretty important on a shoe that heavy, he has a 1/4 inch thick leather pad plus a wedge on.

It's 2 inches tall an inch wide and an 1/8 inch thick all the way to the top.
