    Found this old barshoe in my shop that I built and used over 25 yrs ago . Real ugly and about rusted away, but it helped the ole horse out..if I remember correctly it had a bad wire cut to the quarters?

    ringbone and navicular on one foot. It also gets a wedge pad and equipack. just really has a problem on one foot. Other is just a bar shoe.

    Should give it the full roller motion all the way around as needed. Will make life great, good job.

    I tried this out 3 shoeings ago on a horse with ring bone
    owner said he is a different horse

    Smitty do you find that the plain stamp allows some slide less stress on the affected area (ringbone)

    Half round has become impossible to find. And has priced itself out of use. I think a guy could get it done with a swedge block. But what Smitty made would function just as well as half round. Or do you think the horses find some aid from the inside bevel?

    No, really don't have a problem with half rounds, barstock is hard to find just like concave here...nobody gotte??
