    Was a bit low on bigger shoes today, had to wrap a pair out....... 14 1/2 on a small anvil is always a bit tougher..... image.jpg

    It was the handmade Christmas present one year, the 2lb version... I have had it ten years and love it....

    Same here david, we got caught out for a big pair
    got the young lad to make a pair from 17" of 1 x 1/2

    David my first introduction to that anvil
    was doing a demo up north with paul duddy

    it was his anvil and we had to make 1 x 1/2 3/4 fullereds
    for the day we ended up shoeing 2 all round

    I have had mine for 14 years, it has made some shoes and shod some horses in that time John and still looks like new... It. Will out last me.

    i think we all have our own style when it comes to heels , but if it fits it fits IMO , what is right ?

    Works good for the way I measure my material. If I changed, then I guess I'd have to learn a new way to measure.
