    You'll not hear any excuses from me other than, it was a fun afternoon of shoeing a draft with my buddies getting ready for a four man team contest.

    I always enjoy looking at Jeff cranes works...I like how he sets them up... To me it looks like some shoe a foot with a handmade and Jeff works to me looks like he makes a handmade for a foot.. if ya get what I mean ...edit to add I like scruggs set ups as well with handmades..

    It was a warm up for my arm before I started making bar shoes. fun, easy shoe to make.

    Nice section Justin...with that block I would throw away the guide fuller and try to get my nails a little courser

    Steven Comer and I made that he was striking, first time anything had been run thru the block and first for the guide fuller as well, it is punched pretty fine. I think we should have use a slimmer fuller too.

    I have the same problem with my block.. I quit using the guide fuller and just use a splitter and really pitch it on the first pass then stand it up to drive in the depth. Those Derek Gardner hunter fullers are pretty sweet for tool and fullered.

    What are ya'll making them for.. you got a team for the classic?

    We used a Derek Gardner guide fuller, We had a little get together yesterday. I'd only made one and he had never made one so we had at it.
