    No ya don't.
Because someone gets their undies in a wad, doesn't mean they should. Don't lower the standard to those who can't read with comprehension and lack background experience in the subject.

Bill, you sound like one of those people that say "some of my friends are black". In nursing units, there are secretaries that know nothing about nursing, but do an excellent job at keeping the unit running. Without ours, we'd be lost. Knows nothing about nursing. As this non-nurse minds the unit, the nurses can spend quality time with their patients.

So your argument doesn't hold water with me. I say we just agree to disagree and go on. If you can't let it go, then please tell Ray you think I should be removed.

Bill you're reminding me of a pesky fly that just won't go away. It's up to the owner to make those decisions. Please, go annoy Ray for a while and give me a break.

I thought you quit moderating Karen? I wouldn't want that headache. I figured we could police ourselves.

I did resign, but it's more like giving notice. I just can't flat walk away.
But I'm not putting up with silly BS anymore.
I don't understand why you would say "we figured we could police ourselves". I don't police anyone.

Hey, ya know, since you're a cop and a farrier, why don't you be a mod, it would make everyone happy.

So a moderator can disparage a Member and then delete their response?
As I said before I was so rudely interrupted, I engaged in no condensation or patronizing of women Farriers just stated my track record.
As to wanting to resign, and don't take this wrong, we'll be ok. No sense letting a lot like us bother you. Welcome to herding cats.

Kim it all sounds nice & romantic to say with a little bit of handling patting & kissing all will be fine with every horse . That attitude is what ended a lot of Farriers working lives. In the last 10 years since the barefoot guru's & Natural horsemanshit jokers rocked on the scene. Popped back disc's have become an epidemic amongst the younger farriers coming through the ranks. Not only can they not work as a farrier any more. No one will employ them after that injury due to risk of it flaring up in their new employ .If they did employ that person it would most likely be for light duties . In the event of a flair up the new employer then would have to cover that persons flair up in their work cover policy. If you have plated Thoroughbreds feed to the hilt on grain & needled up with every bit of juice that legally can be given . To the point the horse is wanting to jump out of its skin . Then you would have a better prospective on the flippant remark made by Thomas. Who I might add is not a farrier. So he has never had to get down to the kicking end of the business & like most owners stand well out of the away of the firing line. But love to give orders & directions on how you should go about shoeing their horse . With no regard for you getting injured. Their only concern being their horse & how much they can get out of paying you to take that risk. What a pity I cant throw my best friend Thomas under an unbroken foot sore horse. Who needs to be shod so it can be worked;then he might Know first hand what the shitty end of the stick feels like. An improve on his cock headed thoughts on the ease at which he thinks it takes to shoe a horse.

LOL Jack, you mistook what I meant. There's no carrot stick in my hand. I discipline the horses as needed and so far this method has worked on even some bad mannered ones. Thin rope halter and a whip for emphasis when I say move. When the horse moves off the pressure I release, but I step up the pressure as needed to get that movement.

However there's been two that reacted violently because they were that spoiled and determined to get their way. Those two I walked away from.

Smart Girl!;) . On a day when its colder then your mother in law's kiss. You won't be the one reminded by your joints. How foolish you were to have listen to the whims of an owner who did not have your best interest at heart.
