    Zouhair I use a very small amount of flux, (Iron Mountain being my first choice) I put it just around the joints of the scarf and it doesnt mess with the bricks. The worst thing is I burn holes in shirts.

    Yes indeed they are 0.8 mm mig tips which worked fine. But I have changed them since by some proper burner tips of 7200 Btu. You can always purchase the Pro forge orifices and they only cost around $5
