What's your point of all of this? Asking a farrier if they ever stuck a horse is an ignorant question. Maybe you should start a thread about what people do when they stick or cut a horse short.

Tom what i meant by no come backs was in farriers standard of work
    consistency in farriers work
nothing to do with having to come back for what ever.
getting back to that novel you wrote about service
all i can say is you need another 12 years in this trade

I look forward to the point where I am so good at this job that I can get away with blowing off my clients.

Does that mean something different on your side of the pond?

    blow off
    noun
    - Person who is irresponsible and a procrastinator.
She's a total blow off; she never goes to her classes!

    verb - transitive
    - to ignore another person(s) in a rude manner.
I said hi to her this morning, and she totally blew me off.

    - to ignore one's responsibilities.
I blew off work today and went to the bar.

You can "blow off what ever you like", it may well be that" blowing off who ever you like might be different".
