I guess this sort of counts as "where I went today", even though it was a couple of weeks ago. First the set up. I was called to make a sidebone shoe for a horse, so I set it up for 4:00 Friday. When I pulled in to the barn at the end of the day, the barn owner came out and said "I'm glad you're on time, the film crew is just setting up." WTF. ( a shoe I'd never made before, to go on a horse that had never been shod before. What could go wrong? ) Anyway, that's how this came about, and the film company sent up a promo of the documentary they're working on about Aroostook county. They filmed the whole shoeing, but only a clip is in the promo. It does show some of the country I live and work in everyday.

Beautiful bike. Where are ya heading for David? I have my road bike in storage for when I go home on holiday couldn't bring myself to sell it, sold the race bike and nearly killed me to part with it. Planning on getting my first motox'r out here, the roads are too dangerous to ride on and too straight, no fun.

I used do one particular call back home a small breeder ten dressings every six weeks but she was a good hour and a half away and an area I had no other work, down one of the best twisty roads in Ireland though. Was always my favourite yard to go to during the summer got some funny looks pulling up on the gsxr the first day :D
